Chris "Toots" Tootell began animating at 16 for children's television maker Cosgrove Hall working on several popular shows before moving to London to work for Tim Burton on his Oscar nominated Corpse Bride.
After working in London Toots joined AArdman Animations in Bristol animating on their Creature Comforts Series and other commercials and projects, before heading to the USA.
